From the emperor who built the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife to the notorious 'Ancient Greek Army of Lovers', this book collects together some of the most remarkable love stories in ancient history.

Taken together, these stories show that perhaps little has changed over the last 3,000 years. Passion, jealousy, hope and longing are all represented here - as is the important message of accepting love in all its forms.

With striking artwork by Sander Berg, this is a fresh and fascinating approach to a universal subject.
