Gabriel serves as the resident artist program director, fostering connections with university programs and up-and-coming artists from around the world. He also directs Odyssey's community volunteer and non-profit work, including partnerships with various substance abuse and recovery programs as well as Creative Forces, a collaboration between the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, the National Endowment for the Arts, and state arts agencies.
