Carole Mackavey is an associate professor at the Cizik School of Nursing/University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She is the MSN program coordinator and the post-master's nursing education track coordinator. She primarily teaches in the BSN to DNP and MSN nursing education programs. Dr. Mackavey earned an MSN/FNP from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and a DNP from UTHealth.
