Artist/illustrator/surfer Kaylie Finnis left the corporate world in 2017 to follow her dreams and passion for surfing by moving to Kauai, Hawaii. She spent almost two years there before continuing on to New Zealand. Much of her art is inspired by her travels within the Hawaiian Islands, and New Zealand as well as to famous surf locations such as El Tunco, Puerto Escondido, Cloud Nine Siargao Island, and Bali. Kaylie was inspired to turn her surfboard art into illustrations so that others could enjoy the colourful and organic designs. She encourages those in and around surf communities to use less plastic, make responsible decisions for the ocean, and to both dream and surf big!

What an amazing work of art all wrapped up in a coloring book. Thank you for creating such an amazing book. Beautiful artwork, very fluid and calming designs. Love the message of preserving our oceans and planet. Great message to drill home to kids and adults alike. Our family loves this surf inspired coloring book with a strong environmental message. With the state the world is in right now, it came at the perfect time and is so relaxing for us all, kids & adults. We can't wait to visit the beaches this book features. A great break and excuse to daydream while coloring: ) During COVID-19, I was especially missing my visits to our local beach and this coloring book was refreshing! I love the original art (especially the waves and whales), and I appreciate the weight and smoothness of the paper. A great purchase and I look forward to buying more from this artist when available! We are a surfing family & support minimizing plastic. We live to take care of our planet, so this has been a fun one for the whole family, kids & parents!!! This book is terrific and has become my daily therapy! Each page offers a beautiful illustration to color in with oil pastels, colored pencils, or whatever medium you choose! A wonderful reminder to kids and adults a like to maintain the beauty of our ocean by preventing plastic pollution. Love this book! During COVID-19 lockdown even my dad started to color with my mom over a glass of wine. So fun to see them doing getting into coloring, they've almost filled up their book! A great way to get into a zone and be creative without any pressure. I love the escape this book creates for me!
