About the Book

Aquaculture, popularly referred to as fish farming is a fast growing business around the world, attracting many investors from diverse sectors. Clarias happens to be the most cultured species in the tropics and it has been proven to yield good returns at market size. However, many of these investors dabble into the venture with little or no information at their disposal. As a result of this uninformed venture into an unknown business, many of such farmers have recorded a great deal of loss in one way or the other over time. It is therefore in order to correct the wrong foundations laid by the untrained farmers as well as to reinforce those of the trained ones that we put together this material capable of totally transforming the entire venture of fish farming if correctly applied. The questions contained in this handbook are those encountered during our training sessions, consultancy services etc and many of them are potential questions in many farmers' mind. That is why we have taken good time to explain them; and the correct application of the information gathered from this piece will definitely improve your practice.
