Reviews for 바닐라빛 하늘 아래 푸꾸옥에서: In Phu Quoc under the Vanilla Sky

This was one of those books that I couldn't put down. I love travel essays, and this one really captured my favorite feeling you only get with being on vacation. This book was made even better for me because it contained stuff about living in a foreign place just like the locals for one month, which I'd been wanting to try but haven't got to yet. Korean reader review #1 The honest and simple writing about the foods and experiences the author had was very fun and envious, but I liked the photos the most. All of the memories and times the author had in Phu Quoc was preserved beautifully in this book. Korean reader review #2 A quote from this book goes that the excitement of preparing for the trip is the start of the trip itself. The descriptions of the things encountered in the trip came to me as if I were the person who experienced it. I could feel the consideration the author had for his family who traveled with him in the lines, too. Korean reader review #3
