The aim is to explore the problems of quality decline and resource shortage in the production, circulation, and application of authentic Chinese medicinal materials, and to systematically carry out key technology research on quality assurance and sustainable utilization of authentic Chinese medicinal materials.

The content of this book comes from the national science and technology support project, and is compiled by the """"cultivation base of genuine medicinal materials State Key Laboratory"""" and the """"ecological genetics of genuine medicinal materials"""" key research room of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The entire book is based on the quality characteristics, ecological factors, and human factors of authentic medicinal materials, with Bai Zhi, Lei Gong Teng, Chuan Xin Lian, and San Qi as research objects. Demonstration studies are conducted on chemical composition, genetic characteristics, characteristic processing techniques, quality zoning, origin processing, cultivation techniques, biological transformation techniques of active ingredients, as well as rhizosphere soil microecology and continuous cropping obstacles, We have established fast and effective quality evaluation techniques and standards for authentic medicinal materials.
