This book is a well done educational tool. - NetGalley-Librarian Great for exploring emotions in a fun and non-threatening way. Explains each emotion, low/medium/high intensity and what each level feels and looks like. Emotions are explained in detail, including what they look like and feel like. With the explanation of all the emotions, the intensity levels, and the emotion-o-meter, this book is a useful tool to help children learn about their emotions. The back cover of the book has an emotion-o-meter that children can use to identify their level of intensity of each of the emotions. I highly recommend this book for elementary age children. - Oregon Coast Youth Review Center This book is amazing and wonderful. I love this current trend of books helping kids figure out and understand the emotions that they are going through. This one is exceptional as it not only going through the emotions but it breaks down what is specific about that emotion and gives an example of when the emotion would come into play. I love how the theme comes into play with Inspector Croc giving notes with each specific one. This book is very thorough and probably one of the better emotion books I've seen so far. There are even tips on how to handle each one and that's what sets the book over the top. I think this should be in every library and personal collection, especially for those parents with developing kids. - NetGalley-Librarian
