""The highly visual medium of manga is a great way to relate and digest new information. In Yoda's manga gardening guide, a family, illustrated in manga style, instructs readers on the basics of starting a garden and growing specific produce. […] Beginning gardeners as well as experienced ones will benefit from Yoda's wide range of uniquelypresented information and will learn to grow plants both common (tomatoes, carrots) and unusual (bitter melons)."" —Booklist ""A unique and ideal DIY instructional guide book and 'how to' manual for beginners who like a playful, illustrated approach to solid gardening information, The Manga Guide to Organic Vegetable Gardening by expert gardener Hideki Yoda has a great deal of value for even the more experienced family gardener."" —Midwest Book Review ""I love how it gives information for the novice gardener. It does not assume you know something about plants which also makes it great for kids! For each vegetable it shares a photo, information about it and where it grows and when to plant depending on your region. […] The book truly covers everything you need for growing your own vegetables!"" —Crafty Moms Share blog
