In Edgewater, Maine, hope is a fragile commodity. When the mill closes, young adult Hunter's father spirals into alcoholism, and Luna, scarred by a birthmark, hides from vicious ridicule. A tragic accident further devastates the town, but can an unlikely project bring them together?

As Luna and Hunter lead a fundraising effort, they uncover dark secrets and terrifying risks. Can they knit their broken community back together, or will the weight of Edgewater's despair prove too heavy to bear?

For fans of realistic fiction that explores contemporary social issues, Made in Maine is a coming-of-age story about resilience, acceptance, and the power of community in the face of economic hardship. Discover a tale where not everything broken can be fixed, but where hope can still bloom in the most unlikely places.
