There are so many words that I could use to describe this book. I love the fact that it has gone back to designs from the past and brought them back in a way that makes it up to date. The book starts with the most amazing pictures of each of the motifs and how they can be used. Once you have ooed and awed at the pictures you are taking through the steps of making the beautiful items. First it talks you through materials and tools, then moving onto techniques & how to start & finish stitches. Then you move onto the instructions. The instructions take you through everything you will need to know to make each of the projects. These include diagrams and pictures. The also include the motifs and what stitches you will need to use. I think the pictures and designs speak for themselves. They are exquisite!!!
