CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF THE MILLION COPY BESTSELLER! A special foiled edition of Mem Fox and Judy Horacek's wildly wonderful adventure in search of the green sheep.

THE MILLION COPY BESTSELLER WINNER OF THE CBCA BOOK OF THE YEAR - EARLY CHILDHOOD

Celebrate 20 years of this joyous Australian picture book in a beautiful foiled collector's edition and join Mem Fox and Judy Horacek's wildly wonderful search for the green sheep.

Here is the blue sheep, and here is the red sheep. Here is the bath sheep, and here is the bed sheep. But where is the green sheep?

'With the use of rhyme, rhythm and repetition, the narrative by Fox flows beautifully and young children will learn about colours, opposites and alliteration along the way . . .

The illustrations by Judy Horacek are delightful and complement the text with their bright colours and the wonderful expressions on the faces of the sheep. A book to treasure and to hand down to the next generation. Highly recommended.' Pat Pledger, readplus.com.au

'This much-loved rhyming rollicking quest for the green sheep has lost none of its zing and sparkle over the years. One of the reasons for this longevity is the clever rhyming text which never jars, but skips and sings along inviting children to recite along with the reader. . .

The perfect read aloud, the perfect gift to new parents and an essential book in any school or home library.' Mia Macrossan, storylinks.booklinks.org.au

'Laughs and interactive play will ensue among readers and listeners.' Booklist

'Perfectly attuned to a toddler's sense of playful discovery.' Horn Book Guide

'Just right for toddlers experiencing the basics of life and budding readers learning to complete their sentences by looking at words and pictures together.' Kirkus Reviews

'Oh what a beaut it is! . . . Cunningly worked rhyming words make it a delight to read aloud, sharing with a very young reader who will want to return again and again to the story . . . Brilliant.' Books for Keeps
