References to the cell phones of the '80s being as big as bricks sparked fun conversations with the 10 year old I read this with. Learning about how the hit Hamilton started as a small idea was also the beginning of a lengthy conversation about how taking a chance on an idea can sometimes make a difference. I also appreciated that the book brought in some of the colorism criticism about In the Heights, and we were able to have a discussion about that, too.
