"Espen Vidar is the founder of the Oslo Film and Television Academy. In addition to teaching, scriptwriting, and consultancy, he has directed eight short films, one of which was an international prize winner, Down and Out. In the mid-nineties, depression and life-crisis threw Espen from the ""train of outer more"" and catapulted him to India. He realized that trying to find lasting happiness or contentment from better relationships, higher status, and more possessions was like drinking saltwater to quench his thirst. Unwilling to settle for relative comfort, his focus shifted toward an inward journey. Within the Space of the Moment was authored some 15 years after his pilgrimage; his desire is to share his experience and the shift in consciousness it produced with fellow travelers. Within the Space of the Moment is his first novel."
