"An illustrated adaptation of the long-running bestseller How Full Is Your Bucket? (over 400,000 copies sold) for kids told through the story of a boy who learns a valuable ""bucket filling"" metaphor and watches it come to life as the day moves along. The book describes a day in life of a little boy named Felix. It shows how he learned about the value of kindness through the metaphor of ""bucket filling"" that his grandfather taught him.

Through the story of a little boy named Felix, this charming book explains to children how being kind not only helps others, it helps them, too. As he goes about his day, Felix interacts with different people - his sister Anna, his grandfather, other family and friends. Some people are happy, but others are grumpy or sad. Using the metaphor of a bucket and dipper, Felix' grandfather explains why the happy people make Felix feel good, while the others leave him feeling bad - and how Felix himself is affecting others, whether he means to or not. This beautifully illustrated adaptation takes the original book's powerful message - that the way we relate to others has a profound effect on every aspect of our lives - and tailors it to a child's unique needs and level of understanding."

Reviews for How Full Is Your Bucket? For Kids

'This is quite simply the best history yet written of Japan's Phoenix-like rise from the defeat and ashes of the war. Tsuru's mastery of sources is marvellous. He has ... added his own practical experience and political understanding, and turned the account into English prose that is easy, even sweet to read.' The Financial Times 'A masterpiece. The author is a person of great erudition, a real renaissance man. The book sparkles with intelligence, incisiveness, elegance and a great deal of humanity ... a must for those wishing to understand not only more about Japanese society and economy, but indeed about the world we live in, where it has come from, and where it is going. It is one those exceedingly rare books that provides intellectual, spiritual and moral enrichment.' International Affairs
