Gangsters, Gaslights, and Ghastly Murders-Join in Chicago's Grandest Ghost Hunt

Chicago Haunted Handbook, part of the popular America's Haunted Road Trip series, is written with the ghost enthusiast in mind. All 100 chapters contain information on the history and the haunting surrounding each location, as well as detailed directions on how to locate each site. Many of the chapters also contain insider information that only a local would know, making it easier for ghost hunters to investigate. Ghost hunters Jeff Morris and Vincent Sheilds explore all the best haunted locales Chicago has to offer, including Resurrection Cemetery, Bachelor's Grove Cemetery, Murder Castle, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre Site, and even Wrigley Field. Each two-page entry includes directions from downtown, a historical overview of the haunted place, the story of ghostly doings in that place, and advice on visiting yourself-if you dare.

Jeff Morris was born in the late 70s in Cincinnati, Ohio, so will likely die in the 2040s or 2050s. He graduated with a degree in writing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in 2000 and has been interested in paranormal phenomena since 2005. In 2006, he founded a ghost tour in Miamitown, Ohio, with his brother, which still runs to this day. This is Jeff's fourth book. He published his first book, Haunted Cincinnati and Southwest Ohio, in 2009 and has published 1 book per year since then with Cincinnati Haunted Handbook in 2010, Nashville Haunted Handbook in 2011, and Twin Cities Haunted Handbook in 2012. Jeff currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife and two children who will likely die in 2062, 2089, and 2101, respectively. Vince Sheilds was born in Elgin, Illinois, in 1984. He enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2002 and, upon discharge in 2006, moved to Chicago, where his fascination with the paranormal really took form. There he formed his website for Chicago Paranormal Investigators with his teammates. They started investigating local haunted hot spots, Chicago favorites, and private homes.
