Writer Jason Aaron’s early collaboration with artist Cameron Stewart on DC/Vertigo’s The Other Side was named one of the Washington Post’s Best Comics of 2007. His next project, Scalped, garnered industry-wide praise and led to a guest spot on Wolverine, beginning Aaron’s long association with Logan on various titles, as well as the rest of Marvel’s merry mutants on books including X-Men: Schism, Wolverine & the X-Men and Amazing X-Men. Aaron rocked the Marvel Universe with Original Sin and unfolded a status-quo-shattering Asgardian epic across multiple Thor titles. He was the ideal choice to steer the Rebel crew of Star Wars into new adventures on the series’ return to Marvel, and he ushered in a new era for the publisher with Marvel Legacy. In the wake of that one-shot, he took on Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Avengers and welcomed another iconic property back to the House of Ideas with Conan the Barbarian. Japanese illustrator Peach Momoko is one of comics’ most highly sought-after cover artists, her gorgeous painted artwork gracing many of the industry’s biggest titles. Momoko’s beautifully rendered illustrations of characters including Captain Marvel, Spider-Gwen, Black Cat, Spider-Woman, Doctor Strange and Venom earned her both her own Marvel Portfolio and recognition as a Marvel Stormbreaker. She made her debut as an interior artist and writer with her smash-hit Demon Days saga, featuring an astonishing new vision of the Marvel Universe influenced by Japanese folktales. Torunn Grønbekk is a comic book writer and portrait painter from Norway. She is best known in comics for bringing her Norse expertise to Marvel comics like Thor, Jane Foster, and The Mighty Valkyries. Her other work for Marvel includes titles like Captain Marvel, Punisher War Journal, and Thanos. The cult hit Agents of Atlas helped artist Leonard Kirk cultivate a rabid fan base, but he was guaranteed pop-culture immortality following years of work on multiple Star Trek tie-ins. His collaboration with industry legend Peter David in a years-long stint on Supergirl and his role as penciler on Detective Comics during DC’s One Year Later initiative further cemented his reputation in the industry, leading to a critically acclaimed run on Captain Britain and MI13. His other Marvel credits include another collaboration with David on X-Factor, as well as runs on Fantastic Four, Squadron Supreme and All-New Wolverine. Klaus Janson is a veteran comic-book artist best known as a distinctive and respected inker, but also a talented penciler and colorist. His long artistic collaboration with Frank Miller on Daredevil remains one on the most celebrated runs in comics, and the pair reunited on the similarly revered Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Janson has also enjoyed a long and successful professional relationship with John Romita Jr., inking the penciler’s pages on projects including Amazing Spider-Man, Wolverine, World War Hulk and Avengers. A scholar of the medium, Janson teaches sequential storytelling at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and wrote both The DC Comics Guide to Penciling Comics and The DC Comics Guide to Inking Comics. Alessandro Vitti got his start collaborating with famous Italian cartoonist Giuseppe Palumbo on Inventario, before being published in various magazines and newspapers in his native Italy. His 2007 work for French imprint Soleil brought him further notice, as did Marvel Italy’s X-Campus series. His art on Jonathan Hickman’s Secret Warriors marked his Marvel debut. His other credits include Doctor Voodoo: Avenger of the Supernatural and Broken Trinity: Pandora’s Box.
