-This is a perfect title for Breast Cancer Awareness (October). It is a very realistic portrayal of the fight against breast cancer, but because of the levity and humor Hosford uses as her defense against the terrible disease, it is easy to read and very comforting. Anyone who reads this book will be truly inspired.

-Having a baby is a monumental, life-altering experience, so is adopting a child; being diagnosed with cancer comes with its own transformative, emotional and physical entanglements. Now, imagine what it would be like to experience all three at once. Stephanie Hosford didn't have to imagine it, she lived it, and BALD, FAT & CRAZY is her heartfelt and humorous memoir chronicling her unique circumstances.
