Harry, the black and white dog with a nose for mischeif, is back!

Harry and the family have gone to the beach but it's too sunny and he's one hot dog! There's nowhere else for him to get some shade than under a pile of seaweed! The only problem is that now everyone thinks he's a sea monster and he can't find his family.

This is the third classic story from the Harry series and is as fresh and funny as when it was first written.

Reviews for Harry By The Sea

This is the Harry of Harry the Dirty Dog and Harry and the Lady Next Door. He is just the same as always, an underdog among the dogs who belong to people. As usual he is not without resources and a degree of good luck. Finding himself a thought too warm at the beach, Harry tried various ploys to take him into the shade. But, his people didn't have room for him under the umbrella and the fat lady wouldn't let him stay in her shadow. Poor Harry got caught in the surf and emerged covered with sea weed to the terror of what must surely be an urban beach crowd which promptly labeled him a sea monster in their panic. Broad humor, just right for the youngest readers and three-color cartoon pictures of Harry and the horrified humans. (Kirkus Reviews)
