• Receipt of entries in the competition commences Monday 28 October 2019 at 12.01am and closes Wednesday 18 December 2019 at 11.59pm.
• To enter: 1) Purchase any product at Abbey’s Bookshop (in-store or online) during the competition period and 2) Entrants must be members of our Abbey’s Rewards loyalty program (free and quick to join) with their email address recorded.
• Customers are given one entry via purchase. An additional entry is given to entrants who are also subscribers to our eNews email marketing.
• Entry is only eligible to residents of Australia and the minimum age of entrants is 18.

• The promoter’s business directors, management and employees, their immediate families, their retailers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies cannot participate in the draw.
• The total value of prizes is approximately $4,000 consisting of a voucher for accommodation up to the value of $3,000 and five Gift Vouchers for $200 each redeemable at Abbey’s Bookshop, Language Book Centre and Galaxy Bookshop.
• The holiday prize consists of 7 nights accommodation at one of two choices: 1) Couran Cove Island Resort on South Stradbroke Island, Queensland or 2) Living Valley Health Retreat in the Noosa Hinterland, Queensland. Blackout periods may apply (voucher not redeemable during a blackout period). All accommodation must be redeemed for a single period booking within 12 months of the date of the draw.
• Flights and transfers are not included in the holiday voucher prize.
• Holiday vouchers and book vouchers prizes are not redeemable for cash but are transferable to a person of the winner’s choosing.
• Six winners will be drawn at random by Abbey’s Bookshop staff on Friday 20 December 2019.
• Winners consent to publication of their name and suburb (only) on our competition web-page and across our social media.
• The results of the competition will be published on the abbeys.com.au website from Friday 20 December 2019.
• The prize-winners will be notified on the day of the draw via email or phone. Book vouchers will be posted to winners as soon as is practicable after the draw. The arrangement of the holiday prize will be conducted via our agent.
• If a winner of a prize is not contactable and the prize remains unclaimed or if a prize is not accepted, a second chance draw will take place on Tuesday 24 December 2019 at Abbey’s Bookshop, 131 York Street Sydney.
