STARFISH BAY
01 October 2024
A lonely lizard wonders why other animals get all the attention then realises no one sees him due to his camouflage.

Bruce, a lonely lizard, just wants a friend. He spends his days trying to catch the eye of passersby, but the other Australian animals get all the attention.

It's not until he sees some eyes staring at him, and realises that they belong to camouflaged lizards, that he realises that he, too, just can't be seen-and soon he has the friends he's always longed for.

This funny story about perseverance, just being yourself, and friendship, written in upbeat rhyming verse, with playful and expressive illustrations, is sure to delight and amuse young readers.
