Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children's books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA. Gómez studied Fine Arts at the well-known University of Salamanca (Spain). A new talent, she has worked for several publishing houses in Europe, such as SM in Spain, Le Petit Bulles Edition in France, and Scholastics and Sterling in the USA. Her book Hedgehog and Rabbit.
