Susanna Isern grew up among mountains in the Spanish Pyrenees. When she was little, her favorite hobby was to run around, discovering incredible insects and helping sick or endangered animals. It was then that animals started to whisper her stories, which she hurried to write in the notebook she always carried with her. She is the author of many children's books, most of them distributed internationally and translated into over a dozen languages. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA. Leire Salaberria has exhibited her work in different countries around the world. Her work has been selected to appear in Bologna Children's Book Fair 2012 and IV Ibero-American catalog of illustration 2013, 2014. In 2014 she won an Honorable mention at the Sharjah International Book Fair. Since 2011, when she published her first book, she's illustrated several books in Italy, Mexico and Spain.
