"Advance Praise for The Rachel Condition ""A dark, beautiful, noirish tale set in a Detroit that's slightly sideways to our own, evocative of the work of Dan Chaon and Laura van den Berg. It's an unsettling foray into places and people we glimpse from the corners of our eyes, sometimes to our peril."" --Elizabeth Hand, author of Hokuloa Road Praise for The Absolution of Roberto Acestes Laing ""A strong contender for novel of the year.""--3: AM Magazine""Rombes's debut novel is addictive reading.""--Blake Butler, Vice ""A haunting debut novel.""--The Los Angeles Review of Books ""I very much enjoyed this weird, disturbing, sometimes eff-ed up novel.""--Jeff Vandermeer ""Smart and slyly unsettling.""--Brian Evenson"
