Michelle Tea is the author of several books, including the novels Black Wave, Rose of No Man's Land, and Mermaid in Chelsea Creek; the children's book Astro Babies; and the nonfiction books Against Memoir and How to Grow Up. A prolific literary organizer in queer and feminist communities, she founded RADAR Productions and Drag Queen Story Hour. Tea is the curator of the Amethyst Editions imprint at the Feminist Press.
