Babah’s illustrations of Inuit mythology characters are well known, and his creative interpretations have influenced other carvers and visual artists throughout the Arctic. Babah's recent projects are based on his lived experiences growing up in the High Arctic.
"""The full-page, full-colour illustrations are beautifully rendered and support the text completely...Children will enjoy learning the story by following the illustrations and hearing the text read to them. Teachers/caregivers can use Niitu and Chips when studying the North or discussing friendship, and animal habitats. Highly Recommended.""—CM: Canadian Review of Materials"
