Steve Moriarty was the drummer and foundingmember for Seattle-based rock band The Gits. He holds a bachelor's degree inCivil Rights Law from Antioch College and a master's in clinical social workfrom the University of Washington. He is an accomplished psychotherapist andmusician. Originally from Indiana (home of his favorite author, Kurt Vonnegut), he now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he combinesprinciplesof neuroscience and rhythm creation in his privatepsychotherapy practice.
