Chris qualified in Dentistry from the University of Leeds in 2003. Following Vocational training, Chris gained experience working in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, General & Community Dentistry, Paediatric Dentistry and Undergraduate teaching of Restorative Dentistry & Oral Surgery. Chris completed his Specialist Orthodontic training in Bristol & Bath, completing a Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery (Orthodontics). Chris continued his Orthodontic training to Consultant level and has been a Consultant in Orthodontics at Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield since 2014 and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Orthodontics at the University of Leeds. Chris has been the Training Programme Director for Dental Core Training at Pinderfields Hospital. Chris also works part-time in Specialist Orthodontic practice. Having qualified with honours in 2010, Hemash went on to start Foundation Training and then worked for multiple hospital trusts as a Dental Core Trainee in Paediatric Dentistry, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as Specialty Dentist and a Senior Dental Officer for the Community Dental Services and General Dental Practice. Having worked as Dentist with Special Interest in Minor Oral Surgery he is currently in General Practice as well as an Educational Supervisor for Foundation Training.
