Stephen L. Brayton is a Sixth Degree Black Belt in the American Taekwondo Association and a Marketing Associate for a software company. His first short story concerned a true incident about his reactions to discipline. He wrote for his high school and college newspaper and the script for a video project. After college, he wrote a fantasy adventure and a trilogy for a comic book. Other publications include Editor and contributing author of The Peace Tree Mystery; Alpha, the first of his Mallory Petersen action mystery series; numerous short stories anthologies of fiction; and poems in Lyrical Iowa 2018-2022.
